Tuffet next Stage

I completed the eight sections of the tuffet. The next step was to join them together and press open the seams. That was not easy because it was round after it was joined together and it became narrow at the top.  After the seams where pressed open, I had to zig-zag a cord around the bottom of the fabric.  The machine and I had a real fight. Now I am ready for the second and final class Saturday. The instructor will show me how to stuff the tuffet, attach a button on the top, cover the bottom and add four legs. I ordered mahogany legs.  Below you can see the circle of fabric.  I will post my completed project Saturday.
